Shingie Mangwiro, the co-founder of TUDiki, a baby and children's boutique, is also the hostess of the TUDiki Shower and our guest this week. Shingie joins me in a conversation about the annual TUDiki Shower; an event designed to educate and empower families in what to expect with a newborn, as well as provide much-needed linkages to a vast array of service providers, as they embark on their parenting journey.
The TUDiki Shower is an event that is usually held in a conference setting, however, due to COVID-19, the 2020 shower, will be held virtually (live-streamed) this year for free. The shower will be graced by a Lactation Expert to answer all your breastfeeding questions, a children's Dentist for the much-needed guidelines around infant oral hygiene, Skincare specialist for moms and babies, Dietician and Nautropathic Doctor for overall health and wellness, to mention a few. Moms and Dads will also be available to share their experiences; the joys, challenges and lessons in caring for their children.
In this interview, we also talk about the regular, personal baby shower events and share ideas about documenting memories, integrating fun games with education, and best of all- creative ways to get fathers to attend and participate.
